How to Loosen Straps on a Baby Trend Car Seat

Steps to Loosening the Straps
- Locate the end of the harness strap near the front of the seat.
- Push the red button on the back of the harness.
- Pull up the plastic buckle located in the middle of the harness.
- Turn the adjustment piece to the left to loosen the straps.
When finished adding or taking out the baby, be sure to tighten the straps before using.
How to Tighten the Straps
- Locate the end of the harness strap near the front of the seat.
- Push the red button on the back of the harness.
- Line up the plastic buckle.
- Turn the adjustment piece to the right to tighten the straps.
You can test the tightness of the straps by pulling at the harness near where it connects.
The straps should be snug to your child’s body.
